How does it work ?
We use CO2.js from the Green Web Foundation, a non-profit organization working towards a fossil-free internet by 2030. They maintain the world's largest open dataset of websites powered by green energy and provide open-source tools to manage the environmental impact of digital services.
We base our analysis on the Digital Carbon Rating from the Sustainable Web Design site, created by Wholegrain Digital and Mightybytes. This rating system measures sustainability through a universal scale, enabling teams to set goals and enhance communication while promoting transparency.
